  • Marina Meza | Science

My name is Marina Meza.  I will be your student’s biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental classes teacher this 2018-2019 school year. This year will be my 4th year teaching science at the Ash High School/Ash Program. My goal is to help students learn science by lowering the intimidation they might have of science. I am originally from El Paso, Tx and graduated from Bowie High School but I ventured out first to the hill country of Texas and then to the south plains of Texas. For 5 years, I worked as a science tutor for Premier High School of Lubbock. During this time, I realized that I wanted to be a teacher. While at Premier, I enrolled at Wayland Baptist University in Lubbock. I earned a Bachelor’s in applied science in 2012 and a Master’s in education in 2015. I love collecting cooking books, cooking, and spending time with friends.
