Sarah Ramirez | Coordinator for Exceptional Education
Sarah Ramirez graduated from Plainview High School in 2000. While working as a paraprofessional in PISD she completed her bachelor's degree in 2008. Sarah taught 6th grade reading and special education classes in Dimmitt for 6 years. During that time, she completed her master’s degree through West Texas A&M. She returned to Plainview ISD in 2014 and taught at Coronado Middle School before accepting a position as an Educational Diagnostician and then moving into a position as an Exceptional Education Instructional Coach. Sarah is married to Eddie Ramirez and they have four children, Sydnee, Jaxsyn, Sam, and Cas.

Diana Banda has been an employee of Plainview ISD for 11 years after having worked for Kress and Tulia ISDs. While employed with Plainview ISD, Diana has been the attendance clerk at Highland Elementary, Purchasing Clerk and Accounting Clerk for Plainview ISD Business Office, and has enjoyed the last 6 years as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Student Support Services. While Diana does not have direct interaction with children in the Student Support Services program she loves that she is able to contribute behind the scenes in ordering supplies and equipment that are necessary for student success. Diana is married to Antonio and they have 3 children, Juan Antonio 29, Esteban 26, and Miriam 21. Outside of work, Diana enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, and spoiling her grandson Kayden James.
