Hello and welcome. My name is Rodney Wallace and this is my sixth year serving as the principal of The Ash Program, formally known as Ash High School. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physical Education from Wayland Baptist University in 1996. I received my M. ED. from Wayland in 2014. I taught 7th grade math at Coronado Middle School for 13 years, 5 years of math at Plainview High School, work as the assistant principal at Estacado Middle School 1 year before becoming the principal of Ash Program. My wife Sarah and I have been married for almost 25 years and we have three sons. Two are currently attending Wayland Baptist University while the third is attending Plainview High School. I am a major fan of the Marvel/DC world and of course Dr. Pimple Popper. When I am not watching Marvel, DC or Dr. Pimple Popper, I enjoy spending my time grilling or supporting the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.

I have been with PISD for 28 years. As a blended family, my husband and I have been blessed with six children and six grandchildren. We enjoy spending time with our family. We attend Plainview First Assembly.

Jay Wiseman | Counselor
Hello, Ash Program students and parents. My name is Jay Jay Wiseman. I am the school counselor for the Plainview High School Ash Program. This is my 24th year in education and my 10th year serving as the counselor at Ash. My educational background includes a BA in English/History from Wayland Baptist University, an MA in English from Texas Tech University and an MA in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. My husband is Dr. Brent Lynn, the Director of the Multi-Disciplinary Writing Center at Wayland. We have a 15-year old son, Caleb, who attends Plainview High School. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading and civic work.
