Yesenia Pardo | Principal
Welcome to Hillcrest Elementary. My name is Yesenia Pardo; I am the principal. I was born and raised in this awesome community. I graduated from Plainview High School and attended Wayland Baptist University for both my bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. I began my teaching career at Highland Elementary as a 2nd-grade bilingual teacher. After 10 years of teaching 2nd grade, I began teaching 5th grade reading at Lakeside. I then served as a Dyslexia specialist for 7 years. After 17 years of teaching, I became an assistant principal at Thunderbird Elementary for 2 years.
For the last four years, I have served as principal of Hillcrest Elementary. I have had the pleasure of forming relationships with parents, students, and staff while serving this great school. It’s a great privilege to watch our students grow and flourish as they take this academic journey. I am very proud of our students and staff. We are growing together to make this a great place for students to reach their fullest potential.
