  • Beth Logsdon | Inclusion

Hi parents and families! I teach resource reading, writing, and math classes for grades 6 to 8. I graduated from Evangel University in Missouri with a BS in journalism. After realizing that working in corporate America isn't very fun, I went back to school and earned a teaching certificate and a master's degree from WTAMU. This is my 4th year at Coronado, and my 7th year teaching special education. My husband works at Estacado and we are parents to 3 children + 1 Chiweenie. I love living in a small town and wide West Texas skies!  Fabulous fact - I am originally from Minnesota and played ice hockey in high school.

  • Pat Baker | Functional Academics

Hello! I am Pat Baker. I teach the Functional Academic special education class. We work on all the core subjects and skills for independence in life. I began working for the district in 1997, and have worked at 4 of the elementary schools and now for 2 years at Coronado Middle School. I graduated from Viterbo University, LaCrosse, Wisconsin, with degrees in sociology and music education. I am married to Tom Baker, a retired chaplain for TDCJ. We have 2 children, Andrew who works in computer art in North Carolina, and Hannah who will soon take on her first command as an Army captain in Italy. My son-in-law, Ryan, served 4 tours of duty in Afghanistan and is now working in emergency preparedness. I have one cat, Simca, who keeps me company at home but doesn't get along with any other cats! My hobbies are singing with our church worship team and researching Constitutional government.
