District Annual Report

Texas Education Code Chapter 39 requires each district’s Board of Trustees to publish an annual report that includes the TAPR, campus performance objectives, a report of violent or criminal incidents, and information received under Texas Education Code §51.403(e) from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The Board of Trustees shall hold a hearing for public discussion of the report, and they shall widely disseminate the report within the district.

What is Included in the Annual Report?
The TAPR (see tables below) comprises the main part of the district’s annual report. Districts must publish the TAPR in the format prepared by TEA.

Disseminating the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR)
Copies of the Plainview ISD district TAPR, individual campus TAPR's, and a District summary of the TAPR are located below. A glossary of terms is also provided. To accommodate members of the public without internet access, copies of the full TAPR's will be available at each school office as well as the Plainview ISD Administration Office located at 911 Portland St., Plainview, Texas 79072, after the Public Hearing. Required Public Hearings
A hearing for public discussion of the annual report must be held within 90 calendar days from the release of the annual report. .The Hearing is held in conjunction with a regularly scheduled Plainview ISD Board of Trustees Meeting in the Plainview ISD Boardroom at 2411 Yonkers Street, Plainview, Texas 79072, to present and discuss the Plainview ISD Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR), formerly known as the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) report.
